Re: 235/320/360 Over-Center Link wear

We ended up making several vertical weld passes on the old liners to even get them to budge coming out with a puller. On reassembly I had the block a...

Re: LOBO Training Devours the Swiss Cheese
You misunderstood what I said. I BOUGHT a Fast Build Door while I was building, several years after buying the kit. I have the door skin and inner support pieces left over from the original kit that you stated you would have to mold up, which these pieces would still save some considerable time.

Re: Today’s Flight 2025
Here's one of my flights to Florida this winter. Not IVPT speeds, but not too shabby for a Mooney while I'm rebuilding my Lancair. One fuel stop and 4:50 from the U.P of Michigan to 10 south of Daytona, Florida (Spruce Creek).

Re: Today’s Flight 2025
In the interest of keeping some activity here, and keeping it Lancair for this post, here are a couple pictures of my IVPT flying several years ago. I had a nice tailwind coming east bound across Wisconsin in the second picture. The other is thunderstorms out the window at FL280 on the way back from...

Re: LOBO Training Devours the Swiss Cheese
Dan, Great job handling a very clear emergency !!!! Is that door the same as the IVP? I bought a "Fast Build Door" when I was building mine and still have the original skins for my door. I was offered a ridiculous price for it years ago and declined it, as having the spare was worth more t...
