High Energy Brake Calipers for a Super ES
Hi Group, I thought I had a lead on a new set of high energy Cleveland Wheels and Brake set, listed in their catalog for the IV under part number 199-224, which I understand could be installed on my ES. I contacted the new owners, (Aircraft Wheel & Brake by Kaman), but they have not manufactured...

Re: Temporary Interruption in Parts & Service
Is there any update on the move and return to being able to support the owner/builders?

Performance Numbers for Super ES
I am trying to pin down some performance profiles before I begin my IFR training. I understand that each ES is a bit different even with similar or the same equipment, however, if someone has some go-to MP/RPM combinations for, Precision Approaches holding the decent path, Cruise Climbs, Cruise, Lev...

Re: Does the ES have any "areas of concern" for my 1st condition inspection
George, thanks so much for those pictures! I only had a very bad shimmy when I replaced my strut from one popular source, but then got ahold of Bob and had him build me one, which he indicated was his last. That seemed to take care of the problem...mostly. I still feel a slight one now and then, but...

Re: Does the ES have any "areas of concern" for my 1st condition inspection
J.C. I am interested in your reference to "shimmy damper and checking for play in the main landing gear leg sockets.". Can anyone post a picture of what you are referring to. I asked my Mechanic and he did not know where one could place the a shimmy in the main landing gear leg sockets to ...

Re: Replacing Brake Pads or Inspecting Pads on High Energy Calipers
George, "Yes, if you can get a pair of these calipers, you should. More stopping power for sure." I have been looking for the upgrade high energy kit for my Cleveland brakes (which seem very anemic), but have had a real challenge finding kit #199-124 A from Parker (Cleveland), the "A&...
