Re: Re-Installing Ram Air - Best Inlet Angle?

100_6935.JPG Hi Ryan. I had the standard Lancair supplied Ram Air kit, c2007. The angle on mine looks to be about what you sketched on your chromed inlet. On another pic (bad pic), I would have guessed it was on plane with the forward edge of the cowling... parallel to firewall??? 100_6932.JPG Has ...

Re: Main gear leg brake line

I used SS braided hose for brake lines on the ES I built. If memory serves me, those lines were supplied in the kit by Lancair. Circa 2007.

Aluminum tubing inside the fuselage to firewall, then nynaflow from there to master cylinders.

Lancair ES for sale - Original Owner/Builder

Hello all LOBO-ers! With a lot of thought and even more sadness, I have decided to sell my beautiful ES. N144GP. Why? Just not flying enough. That leads to an endless spiral of not being proficient enough to launch into x-country conditions that never bothered me before. Cancelled flights, less prof...

Re: Lancair ES - Steam Gauges to Dynon

My G3X only needed one OAT probe. I put it under R wing tip. You could do the same on the L side.

Garmin requires shielded cable... that was fun!

Re: My seats won’t slide far enough aft.

Dave, I sent you a PM as well:

Hi Dave. If you give me your e-mail address I can send you the chapter from the ES manual that describes what George recommended.

I can't seem to attach the PDF file directly to the forum.
