Today's Flight for 2023

Cloning a practice done on Mooney Space, I think we should have a yearly topic under the Miscellaneous Tab to share flights and in flight pictures. This doesn't have to be Lancair Specific, since some of us are building, rebuilding, or enthusiasts hoping to step into the Lancair Ownership circle.
I've had some pretty cool flights lately so will start this off with a few submissions of neat trips.
My first one is an early morning Med FLight from KIMT to KVLL (Troy, MI). I had to fly 2 IFR approaches, one to minimums, on this trip, KVLL on 9-7-23 A.jpg[/attachment]

Another flight to KVLL, Troy, MI on Friday to pick up the patient. One more IFR Approach too. First picture is busting out the top of the overcast in late afternoon. Second one is seeing the end of the overcast with a cloud edge I've never seen before. It looks like a cliff edge!

During my last Spruce Creek Florida visit I flew down to Punta Gorda (40 minute flight, 5 hours drive with Orlando traffic!!) to visit friends. On the way back we saw an gorgeous sunset over Tampa Bay. It was pretty impressive!!

Too many rivets to be a Lancair wing...Mooney, perhaps?

A while back I received an email form LOBO looking for participation in posting photos/vids to a new forum either on the LOBO site or here @ Lancair Live. Now I can't find the new forum, can anybody point me in the correct direction?

Rock, LancairLive is the new forum, so you're in the right place. We asked if you have Lancair photos you'd like to be featured on our upcoming website redesign, to please send them to
info@lancairowners.com. Thanks, and I look forward to seeing what you send over.

Fall colors near Pagosa Springs, CO. A great day to fly from Colorado Springs to Phoenix. Flew the family to watch the AF-Navy game. Painful to watch AF get stomped!
