Since Desser Tire said they could not retread the MLG tires I searched for a new supplier. I discussed our Goodyear Flight Eagle tires with Bill Wilkerson of www.WilkersonAircraftTires.com (434)645-9641
He was very helpful. Desser sent my 2 tires to Bill. He quoted $285 each and it would take approximately 2 weeks. I will keep you updated.

Don, out of curiosity, what psi are Evo mains run at? With them so thin, I assume they are high.

Anywhere from 90 to 110 lbs. Mine are at 100 lbs.

Wilkerson finished the retreads and are shipping today. $285 each includes return shipping.
I won’t be able to inspect them until we return to Michigan next May.
Don’t throw away your old MLG tires if they are good candidates for retread.

Tires arrived before we flew to Florida. They look great.
Save your old tires for me to use in the future.

Just curious. I noticed the new T6 trainer yesterday has about the same size tires that the evolution runs. I didn’t go up and get the tire size but I am curious if that is the same tire?

I believe our main is used as a nose tire for a smaller Citation jet. The chine is removed for our use. It is a Goodyear 184F03-2 size 18 x 4.4.

I saw a citation tire the other day and it looked familiar
