A new toy I just couldn't resist. I'm kind of pushing the "aircraft content" intent of this forum, but, it IS A JET ENGINE!

The young guy laughing at the end of the video is the 6 year old son of one of my good friends who LOVES anything aviation!!

Tom,

That Jet bike needs to be at our next Landing and at EAA with our LOBO logo flag trailing off the back!

Really cool !!

Be careful and please do not try installing any wings on it.

It will do 80 MPH. I won't ride it over 20 MPH!! The builder got it to 60 MPH and the front tire started vibrating and it scared the crap out of him!!

Yaa, it's still not complete. That was a trial run which I couldn't resist. I have a Kevlar lined carbon fiber cover I'm currently making for over the engine, sort of like a blast / scatter shield I run on my drag car around the clutch housing.

George,

It WOULD BE COOL to have at the next LOBO Landing. Might even work out that I am trailering my '63 Impala SS, Harley, and Jet Bike to Florida about that time so we could do that.
