In related news:

LOBO has requested, and expects to get a 1-hour LOBO Forum slot at the “Homebuilders Hangar” during AirVenture. We won’t have a specific date or time until June, and will send this information as soon as we’re confirmed. Expect a “shotgun blast” of Lancair-specific info and a chance to meet the Company principals and many of our vendors at this meeting!!
As in past years, LOBO is inviting all Lancair owners flying into AirVenture to park together with us in the first three experimental aircraft parking rows immediately southwest of the taxiway P-1 and P intersection (see KOSH airport diagram). This area is a high-traffic area between the main show area and the warbirds. It won’t be specifically reserved for us, but we’ll work with the parking crew to hold a space for you. To facilitate this, make an additional window sign, “P-1” to get you to the area after landing. If you need hard-surface parking (EVOs?) just continue west on P-1 to the paved pad, where camping is also allowed. Otherwise, when taxiing west turn left off P-1 as soon as possible. If the ground crew wants you to park elsewhere, follow their directions , shut down and THEN ask to relocate. Call Bob Pastusek at 757-286-4802 to confirm space is available in this area and for help in relocating.
If you have questions about either event, please call or text LOBO President George Rosel at 303-995-5501.
