Help Stop Spammers

All, I've been fighting a big increase in spam accounts. I've cleaned up the board, locked down newly registered accounts, and increased account creation complexity. However, they'll still slip through, so please notify me if you see spam. Thanks and I appreciate the help thus far!

I'm no IT guy, but I wonder if the "not secure" status of the site has something to do with the proliferation of spam recently?

It may be a contributing factor. I will update the site to https when I have some available time to work it. In the meantime, the lockdown in accounts has greatly reduced the spam. Just one week into it, I've denied 33 accounts and approved three legitimate ones.
